Hello, Viking Alumnus and Alumna it is that time of year.  We are blessed be in good health 
able to still thank God for being alive and able go out and have a good time. Time to think 
about the good old time and all the fun we had in the 60's and 70's at Edison High School.  
We do not have anything planned for this year but, I hope we have enough Soul Vikes out there 
still kicking and willing to come up with a Viking weekend out on the town.  
 
Ideas:
1.    Dinner party

5.    volleyball
6.    Viking Parade

Now we need a place to meet for about a hour to organize the contest.  
It needs to be after 5pm, easy to find and free or we could do a Golden Corral 
meeting and meet over dinner.  Please respond.  
 
I need help, need someone willing to hand the data base and event organizing.  
And as the alumni association grow we will need people to step up and make a difference. 
We can basically do everything via email.

Come on Vikings talk to me.  For the Alumni to be successful it must grow.  
This we must be a team effort.  Okay, need comments on recruit contest!!  
I would like to see us have 500 active alumni. Having a contest would make 
it fun and give us a reason to get others and to socialize and get real for our 
next event.  PLEASE, tell me if you are interested or not. I just believe it will be 
great fun and an opportunity to get involve at Edison and make a difference.  
Three or four people can't do it, we need a team of Vikings.  Please vote, 
YES OR NO on recruiting.

Hi Soul Vike!

Thought you might be interested in a Viking Alumni Dinner to be held on 
Friday November 9, 6:30pm at Sampan Smorgy. Cost $15. Lawrence Brice is now 
coaching the Edison track team and Booker Guyton is the new football head 
coach. They're trying to put together an alumni group to help raise funds 
for the athletics and also to help bring back that old Viking 
Spirit!!Coaches Washington, Parks, Chandler, Berg and Hall will be there to 
greet all alumni. Should be fun.  Please pass the word to other alumni that 
you're still in contact with.  Hope you can make!!
